What the ad account knows

Your ad account knows what you paid for. Every conversion it shows you is one it takes credit for, measured by a platform grading its own homework, inside a walled garden you rent.

It cannot see a purchase that happened because of a neighbor, a coworker or a dinner conversation. Worse, it often claims those anyway. The picture is detailed, expensive and flattering to the platform that drew it.

What the export knows

The order export records what actually happened. Every customer, every date, every place, no attribution story attached. It is the one dataset in your company with no motive.

Read it right and it answers the question no platform will touch. Where are you growing without spend behind it. Which communities keep producing new customers that nothing in the ad account explains. That is the growth you own outright, and the export is the only place it shows up.

The asset nobody prices

Brands guard the ad account and email the order export around like it is nothing. Yet the export is first-party, portable, platform-proof and appreciating with every order. It cannot be taken away by a policy change or an auction.
